GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides analytical support to all warehouse, transportation and logistic functions. Provides technical support for warehouse management Access database. Develops highly complex reporting for inbound and outbound unit flow analysis by connecting data from multiple sources. Collaborates with business partners to identify risks & opportunities and takes action to ensure efficient and productive operations within Transportation and Warehouses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Create sustainable and digestible reporting to support decision making and influence actions throughout Logistics, Planning, and Buying *Inbound Unit Flow Influence labor planning, budget and sales forecast through inbound unit flow analysis. *Provide single version of truth for PO status and alert proper contacts on common PO/transit issues *Provide visibility to outbound timelines and vendor non-compliance that will result in actions to change vendor behavior and maximize speed/cost.  *Enhance inbound unit flow reporting, for cross functional partners, to provide a system for all supply chain data. *Interpret data and communicate observations to functional partners and leadership *Analyze business reporting and processes to identify and solve issues that could impede operations and/or decision-making withing Logistics *Identify root causes of pain points and offer solution to issues with varying level of complexity *Produce and publish critical Logistics reporting to help in decision making process. *Maintain data integrity through validation, research, and issue resolution *Log and maintain daily metrics for hindsight reporting and performance evaluation *Develop back-end code and front-end user interface for complex business reporting across various business systems. *Represent Logistics as subject matter expert for DC Data and processes *Manage report distribution schedules *Develop and maintain supporting documentation for reports and systems changes *Recommend system configuration and enhancements to support business needs *Application development, testing, implementation, training, and support *Act as back-up system administrator for Warehouse Management System (WMS), Yard Management System (YMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS) and, Trailer Management System (TMS). *Provide support for internal and external database connections, user interface, and security *Offer DC Area Operation Coordinators support and training *Design and Print bartender templates for Zerba Labels
 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

*Experienced user of Microsoft, Crystal, SQL, MSI, WM, YMS, and TMS; ability to code VBA  *Ability to translate large volume of data into meaningful hypothesis with supporting risk, opportunity, and/or recommendations *Experienced with warehouse operations /systems / processes / data *Ability to translate business objectives into attributes, metrics, and calculations used for report development *Strong attention to detail while maintaining big-picture mentality *Ability to self-manage and work with little direction or supervision from leadership * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior level management *Ability to quickly determine data, process, and team connection points
 

EXPERIENCE:

*Minimum three years experience in warehouse and/or logistic analysis. * Experienced user of Microsoft, Crystal, SQL, MSI, WM, YMS, and TMS; ability to code VBA
 

EDUCATION:

*Associate degree or equivalent work experience
