The candidate will be responsible for: Oversee day to day activities ensuring that unit is meeting or exceeding productivity and quality expectations as set by management. Review all incoming loan documentation requests for completeness. Notify appropriate lending personnel as to any deficiencies or missing required items. Assign requests to Loan Documentations Specialists based on complexity and capacity. Review closing package, pre-funding requirements and conditions prior to funding. Verify accuracy of wire requests/amounts to be advanced, adherence with departmental guidelines, lien perfection and standard title clearance requirements. Assign loan files to Funders based on complexity and capacity. Coordinate assignment of pre and post-closing quality control activities and monitor for timely completion. Develop and implement process/procedure enhancements designed to improve operational efficiency, turn times, accuracy and quality of work. Review management reports, including pre-closing and post-closing quality control, compliance and audit to identify training needs an evaluate performance. Train and coach team members on all aspects of loan documentation, funding and quality control. Make recommendations or decisions regarding personnel related matters such as performance reviews, termination, salary adjustments, promotions and utilization of resources. Analyze and resolve non-routine and/or moderately complex operational challenges often requiring research and partnership with other business unit managers or subject matter experts. Develop and maintain necessary controls to protect the integrity of the Bank’s resources and assets from fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement. Other duties as assigned. Should preferably have 5-10 years demonstrated experience in banking/financial institution loan documentation and funding environments, 3 years of which are in a managerial capacity. Should preferably have extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, construction, residential and consumer lending products, loan documentation standards and regulatory requirements. PC savvy with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, LaserPro, Encompass, and Fiserv DNA. Should preferably have BA or BS degree or a combination of college course work and applicable banking or financial institution experience. Paralegal Certificate, preferred.
