Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our talented Business Intelligence & Reporting Team in our Technology & Innovation Lab in Pittsburgh.
Reporting to the BI Application Manager, the Business Intelligence Specialist will be a part of a dynamic team supporting the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards utilizing BI tools including Tableau, SAP Business Objects, and Crystal Reports.
How you will make a difference as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Fragomen:
Build, promote and maintain reports and dashboards within Tableau, SSRS and Business Objects suite (Webi and Crystal Reports) using Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Troubleshoot issues and train users on the use of the reports.
Collaborate with various teams within the business and in IT, to ensure the reports are built consistent with requirements.
Verify data in SQL Server databases for accuracy identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective action.
Participate in monitoring and upkeep of reporting environment.
Serve as the BO, SSRS and data expert with an ability to: quickly adapt to new systems and data models, work in a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision, establish and follow standard SAP BO and SSRS development, transport and promotion processes
Review and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and functions as well as SSIS ETL processes to provide optimal performance.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience in BI, Reporting, and Data Analysis

o Dashboards and SAP BO Analysis for Office (will be a plus)
o Building and maintaining Webi universes (will be a plus)
Experience with data analytics
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
Business and system analysis skills
Sound knowledge of the SDLC process
