Student Services Manager I

Duties: Reports to the Assistant Vice President for Student Services. Researching and interpreting federal, state and local regulations for the Student Services division and effectively communicating compliance issues to multiple audiences; providing training on regulation changes; and assessing divisional policies and procedures for compliance with the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education, federal, state, and local regulations. Other primary responsibilities include conducting investigations of potential Student Code violations; consulting with the Vice President for Student Services about decisions for student discipline; initiating follow-up action related to discipline sanctions; and arbitrating student complaints about financial aid and academic appeal committee decisions for standards of progress.
