Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This full-time, second-shift Maintenance Generalist position is for Tyson Foods’ Vernon, Texas, location. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment in a food-processing environment. Position will work with scissor lifts, scaffolds, industrial pallet jacks and various chemicals and lubricants and will be responsible for welding, soldering and assembling equipment.
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent; Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic repair preferred; Must have a minimum work history of 12 consecutive months in maintenance related field in the previous 18 months. Must be willing to work in a changing environment.
