Sharepoint online files in Microsoft Access
I need several functions for interacting with Sharepoint online from Microsoft Access. They are:
1. SPO auth: a function to authenticate the user by either of two methods. If the user is using a domain-connected computer, extract that domain credentials and pass them through to SPO to authenticate; second, if the user is not on a domain-connected computer, gather the credentials from the user to pass through to SPO.
2. Folder actions: function to create/delete folders in SPO sites
3. File actions: function to create/delete files in SPO sites
If it is possible, error handling should return appropriate messages if the user doesn’t have rights to the action for files or folders.
The SPO auth function must connect to Sharepoint online, not use local OneDrive folders or connect using the inetcpl method. It must be a direct connection authenticating with SPO using this method (which is essentially a cookie): [login to view URL]
The folder and file action functions should test that the user is authenticated/connected to the SPO site before performing their actions, and if not, authenticate.
