JOB SUMMARY

Based in Roanoke, VA, our community-based health care organization encompasses a comprehensive network of hospitals, primary and specialty physician practices, and other complementary services.

 

Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages.  Performs multi-modality procedures using computer processing skills, injection skills as needed, and other related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist or other credentialed specialist.  Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and up to an additional $6.00/hour shift differential/weekend premium available.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED and Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, other associated Imaging technologies, or other approved training in Computerized Tomography required. 

EXPERIENCE: CT experience strongly preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: AARRT registry, registry eligible.  If not registered in CT, must become CT registered within 2 years of hire date.  AHA BLS-HCP required; May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.

OTHER: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments. Must be able to function independently. Must have good computer and communication skills.OUR VALUES
