Job Description:
Job Duties: Analyze and design data warehouse schema. Perform feasibility analysis. Develop Business Intelligence Reports. Gather requirements and prepare detailed design document. Design, develop, test and implement Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence/Big Data projects. Develop ETL scripts using Ab Initio, Unix, SQL and Big Data / Hadoop. Analyze and translate business requirements to technical requirements and architecture. Develop and unit test the ETL-Extraction Transformation and Load scripts using Informatica or Teradata using SQL for the databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. Create ETL mappings/scripts using Informatica Power Center to move Data from multiple sources like Flat files, SAP BW, PeopleSoft, SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle into a common target area such as Staging, Data Warehouse and Data Marts. Use TPT API Wizard in Informatica to export and Import data to backend Database. Perform system testing and integration testing of the data load scripts and the reports by comparing with the source system data and with the source system reports. Create sessions, worklets and workflows for carrying out test loads according to standards. Create Deployment groups to move the workflows from one environment to the other. Design and configure the intelligence dashboards using OBIEE to target user groups of various levels in the organization. Check Sessions and error logs to troubleshoot problems and use debugger for complex problem troubleshooting. Convert RAW datasets to a concise/flatten format to find the right features for prediction using Python, scikit, spark ML. Support multiple OLTP & Warehouse (Exadata/Hadoop/HortonWorks) platform along with ETL operations. Migrate projects from Oracle to Cassandra, Hadoop and HortonWorks system. Use tools like Fluentd, Spark streaming, Java APIs for data ingestion from different sources to Hadoop or HortonWorks system and HiveSQL/Impala/Sparksql to query and Tableau for reporting. Perform Business Intelligence reporting using Business Objects or Hyperion Brio or Cognos. Train the business users to use new reports. Provide technical definitions and estimations. Will work in Chantilly, VA and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
