PL/SQL Developer (ETL)
Our client, located in the Alpharetta area, has a permanent PL/SQL Developer opportunity with great benefits!!
They are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer that will be responsible for Database Development and ETL process in an Oracle 11g environment.
Responsibilities:
• Define monitoring requirements to prepare for deployment of these new database features
• Provide sound advice base on industry best practices to application programmers in the effective use of database languages
• Advise on troubleshooting, exception processing needs, and other data management issues.
• Assist the software development teams in dealing with performance issues in all custom code released to the production.
• Assist with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, B.S. in Computer Science preferred.
• 2 years of PL/SQL and 2 years of T-SQL experience
• 3 years of development experience and stored procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views
• Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and debugging
• Strong experience in Performance Tuning and SQL tuning of large database environments (1 terabytes)
• Experience using Bulking Techniques, Oracle Collections, and Partition to increase performance
• Experience with Oracle 11g
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
