Profile

Description:
This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of verification and validation procedures for software applications and will be responsible for many of the testing activities completed during the software development life cycle.
Prepare overall Test Plans for assigned Programs
Recommend new test automation tools and frameworks to technical leaders and management
Develop test strategies and frameworks based on risk analysis
Direct QA team members and assign tasks to them based on their strengths
Work with release management to coordinate resource capacity and utilization
Verify that software functions according to functional and user requirements and software design specifications
Assist in the testing of systems, modules and prototypes
Report all defects in the group’s defect tracking tool
Conduct ongoing regression and integration testing of the product
Write, maintain and execute system test plans
Perform installations, configurations and executions of verification procedures
Review installation, upgrade and system manuals
Create Functionality vs. Requirements Traceability Matrices and Test Environment Matrices
Job Requirements :
Must Have:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
Seven (7) years software testing experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or other office automation software tools
Familiarity with defect tracking software packages
Thorough understanding of Software Quality Assurance methods
Thorough understanding of Integration and Solution level testing
Thorough understanding of various types of software testing (blackbox, stress, performance benchmarking, regression, etc.)
