What We’re Looking For:
The Sr. Sourcing Manager will lead 2U’s purchasing efforts in assigned spend categories. The role will help internal stakeholders determine their requirements, manage RFPs efforts, and negotiate vendor agreements. The Sr. Sourcing Manager must have the ability to interact with all levels of business management, legal team, procurement, and 3rd party vendors. Key to the role is the ability to help 2U obtain the pricing and contract terms that are favorable to the company. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will be evaluated based on the individual’s ability to support internal customers, obtain desired vendor services, generate cost savings, protect the company’s capital, and ensure efficient and timely purchasing.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Support internal customers to determine purchasing requirements and manage all aspects of the RFP process.
Manage contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiating, finalizing, and executing vendor agreements.
Seeks cost savings opportunities including consolidating vendor spending, assessing product utilization, and supporting cost reduction initiatives.
Enforce 2U purchasing policies and procedures.
Drive implementation planning and execution for identified purchasing opportunities within new or existing suppliers and solutions.
Maintain expertise in assigned purchasing categories.
Identifies change management opportunities and develops recommendations.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Sourcing and Procurement
A Sourcing and Procurement background in categories of contingent labor, professional services, technology, or social media purchasing a plus
Ability to manage multiple project demands and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
