We provide comprehensive in-home care, day support, summer programs, after school support, supported employment and vocational rehab services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Implementing and evaluating active treatment programs for the individuals.
Supervising and participating in activities with the individuals
Understanding the developmental needs of others.
Coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.
Observing, reporting, and documenting the behavior of the individuals
Reading, writing, and carrying out directions.
Transporting client to appointments.
Facilitating community and recreational activities.
Provide support with hobbies, studies, and social activities.
Other job activities as assigned
An ideal candidate for this position will be able to:
Follow prescribed schedules and treatment plans.
Show compassion, reliability and provide excellent care.
Display excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Team player.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license is a must.
