The Senior Electrician supports the field staff in the operation of oil production facilities, pumping units and overall electrical systems and participates in planning new electrical service, minimizing downtime and expediting repairs, maintaining the electrical distribution system as well as work order scheduling and material and equipment coordination in coordination with the Superintendent. Qualified candidates must have:
High School diploma or equivalent
Associate or Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Technology or equivalent training required
Minimum 15 years as State certified Journeyman Electrician
Minimum 10 years oil and gas operations experience
Minimum 5 years leading and directing oilfield electrical projects
This position must also meet the following work requirements:
Ability to perform all duties in accordance with NEC, OSHA and company EHS compliance standards; be able to move quickly, reach, squat, bend, climb and lift up to 80 lbs
Field working conditions including natural gas, H2S/CO2 gases and oil field liquids in outdoor conditions. Ability to hear consistently over loud background noises such as compressors and heavy equipment
Work beyond regular schedule is required. Responding to callouts required. Driving required
