Information Security Manager

Duties: Report to the Chief Information Security Officer and will manage the Security Operations team. Responsible for successful management and execution of all enterprise information security operations functions which includes: incident response, security monitoring, security architecture design and implementation, and GRC systems architecture. Assists the CISO with strategic security planning, enterprise risk management, and maintenance of security standards and processes for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Medical Center. Ensuring successful execution of the core functions of the security operations team, including: threat detection and prevention, incident response, systems and network security monitoring, forensics, vulnerability management, and data loss prevention at enterprise scale; leading and managing the Information Security Operations team comprised of four Information Security Analysts and Engineers; evaluating Information Security Operations personnel and develop annual performance goals, delivering performance reviews, coaching and holding team members accountable for performance; leading the planning, architecting, designing, implementation and maintenance of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution, RSAM; creating information security metrics, dashboards, reports, and executive "roll-ups" including the Information Security Office's Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Key Risk Indicators (KRI); maintaining ongoing awareness of shifts in threat landscape and attacker methodologies; recommending appropriate strategic and operational changes to the security program to address new threats; understanding the business activities performed and trends in information security technology, and based on this understanding, suggest appropriate solutions that adequately protect business activities; developing and implementing processes to ensure information sharing occurs between Information Security Operations, Information Security Risk Management, and appropriate security personnel at partner organizations; assisting Chief Information Security Officer in the development of security standards, procedures and guidelines, as well as overall information security strategy; on behalf of the Chief Information Security Officer, work with Internal Audit, HR, Legal, and Corporate Compliance on issues involving the coordination and direction of security objectives, goals, policies, standards, guidelines, and other requirement statements needed to support information security compliance; representing the Information Security Office when the Chief Information Security Officer is unavailable; being an active member of the broader information security community; maintaining understanding of current best practices by participating in technical groups, attending appropriate industry conferences, and researching literature and security news sources; other duties as required. Lead and manage Information Security Operations: threat detection and prevention, incident response, systems and network security monitoring, forensics, vulnerability management, and data loss prevention. Support the University wide risk management program by delivering programmatic development and customizations to the IT-Governance Risk and Compliance platform (RSAM). Develop, prepare, collect and report on Key Performance Indicators, Key Security Indicators and other reports related to Information Security Operations.
