TPX Overview
What organization will you be a part of?
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s Technology, Product & Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience. From creating apps like Active Core to new versions of mission critical applications such as the My Account, Payment, and Billing, we work every day to make a positive impact through innovation in the pursuit of building amazing products that are enjoyable, easy to use and accessible across all platforms. The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation Business systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.
Intern Job Description
Are you passionate about sustainability and technology? Do you want a realistic job preview where your contribution matters? Do you want exposure to Fortune 500 standards and code reviews with experienced technicians who want you to learn? Do you look for ways to use what you were taught to help customers use our technologies to modernize their approach to the Marketplace?
As a member of the Self Service team you will have opportunities to contribute as a full member of the team with accountability for assignments and real transparency into the requirements and an embedded business partner to give you the big picture.
Who will the intern work with?
The My Account teams are self managed and have a full time scrum master and product owner to provide guidance and remove obstacles. Our department also has innovative software architects who are enabling the team to implement push technologies and a micro service architecture that will truly democratize the development process. By working modularly with small lots any team member can make meaningful changes on their own and see them go to production in days to weeks instead of months. We also have solution designers who put developers in positions where they can win while challenging themselves and having autonomy to innovate with the technology provided.
What are some interesting problems the intern will work on?
Interns will learn how to properly start off a development effort, how to manage software versioning, how to manage development time while working on multiple deliverables with differing priorities. Interns will learn how to effectively communicate with peers, leaders, and business partners. They will also learn how to recover from mistakes and to apply corrective action that leads to learning for all involved. There is a marked difference between developing software in an educational setting and creating deliverables in a real position. The intern will learn to focus and understand the ability they have to impact business outcomes just by doing something that they love.
Where can this intern make an impact?
Self Service that works seamlessly with mobility devices and with AI overlays is the future of customer service. The up and coming cohort of business leaders and their staffs are used to doing business digitally and expect premium services to have at least equivalent technologies to the providers that they use every day to live their personal lives. While we will always have a care center, our product is evolving to customize itself to the business consumer in advance of their inquiries.

Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
