University Compliance Officer/Title IX Coordinator
The candidate will provide centralized support for the University’s efforts to comply with its legal, regulatory, and ethical obligations. Monitoring and coordinating regulatory compliance in areas such as Title IX, ADA, ADAA, and associated mandatory reporting. Manage oversight of University compliance efforts to comply with legal and regulatory obligations in support of the University mission, vision, and policies. Interpret and ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations and University policy. Maintain coordination and oversight of all Title IX responsibilities, including on-going training efforts. Complete and submit applicable compliance reporting. Develop and administer compliance related programs and training in collaboration with Human Resources and Academic Affairs. Counsel, consult, and advise faculty and staff on compliance related matters. Ensure the development of necessary policies and procedures. Provide periodic compliance reports to senior leadership and various committees on campus. Ensure that adequate records are maintained to appropriately document compliance efforts. Oversee and manage internal reviews/audits to assess compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Represent the University on a variety of campus committees. Perform budget responsibilities as necessitated by educational and training needs/handouts. Other duties as assigned.
