Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.

Responsibilities:


Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.

Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.

Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.


Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:


Quality Professional preferred.

Risk Management preferred.


Education:


High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.


Additional Preferences

Experience with working in EHR.

Clinical experience 2 or three years. LPN, RN preferred.

Previous Quality experience preferred.

This person will be responsible for reviewing charts, abstracting data, working with Performance Improvement Specialists on projects such as Leapfrog, CMS quality data, and quality improvement initiatives.
