Generating summary reports in html format based on Trinotate reports, building off of this process:
TRINOTATE/util/report_summary/[login to view URL] [login to view URL] Trinotate_report_stats
The current reports just show various graphs with little other documentation. They represent an attempt at generating interactive reports that summarize the contents of the data uploaded into the Trinotate database.
This process needs to be added as a supported utility in the Trinotate toolkit with documentation added on the wiki. Some additional thought about content and design is needed here - can be creative. Once we have the reference genome Trinotate builds above, we can make reports for those and explore how useful they are wrt providing basic ‘whole transcriptome’ annotation summaries.
