JOB SUMMARY:
 
The staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic procedures for patients of adolescent, adult, and geriatric ages utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the standards established by the radiologist and such state, local and federal standards which may apply.','!*!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education: 


Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
Associate Degree required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience: 

One year in general radiology
Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
Licensure/Certification: 

Registry with the American registry of Radiological Technologist
Certification with the society of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
BCLS Certification
Equipment/Skills:

Working knowledge of all diagnostic imaging approved instrumentation, computers and communication equipment
