Job Summary

Assist in the preparation and analysis of periodic reports filed with the SEC (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.) and the research and documentation related to disclosure requirements under SEC rules and new accounting standards as they arise. Manages preparation and review of certain financial reporting included in investor relations materials for quarterly earnings calls and investor conferences. Key resource in identifying and tracking disclosure trends in the industry and other reporting special projects. Provides leadership and direction, develops and leverages relationships with other departments within the company, interacts with various levels of company management and contributes to a positive teamwork environment.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Assists in the preparation of the Company's financial statements for filing with the SEC (such as Forms 10-Q and 10-K) in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the rules of the SEC and generally accepted accounting principles

Manages preparation and review of certain financial reporting included in investor relations materials for quarterly earnings calls and investor conferences.

Partners closely with business teams and investor relations to facilitate timely creation of MD&A commentary

Involved in the evaluation of and compliance with evolving SEC requirements, including non-GAAP rules

Review other financial statements prepared within the company (statutory and contractual requirements)

Works with treasury and legal departments and divisions regarding compliance with company policies, trust indentures, debt covenants, rules, regulations and laws; and stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audit guidelines affecting areas of responsibility.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
