Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.Work closely with business units and sourcing personnel in determining how DBE’s can support LKE business and sourcing needs.Utilize all appropriate databases and external organizations to identify new diverse businesses to participate in sourcing opportunities and to meet Company needs.Represent the Company at local, regional and national Supplier Diversity meetings; this includes setting up, attending and actively participating in events such as information sessions, networking activities, etc.Collect appropriate data necessary for external reporting of LKE compliance with the Area-wide General Services Administration Contract and any other government based or business organization reporting requirements.Participate in external training sessions for diverse businesses as needed to increase the understanding of requirements to do business with LKE or to improve the overall business acumen of these firms.Participate in internal training sessions for business units to increase the overall understanding of, and involvement in the initiative and related supplier diversity activities.Represent the department on all relevant issues in the absence of the Manager of Supplier Diversity.Support internal and external contacts concerning the National American Industry Classification System (NAICS).Maintain accurate database of Award Recommendations in SharePoint.Work with internal stakeholders and external consultants or the selected solution provider to ensure the successful implementation of any upgrades or replacements for the supplier management systems.Train internal customers on Oracle purchasing portal and accessing supplier information.Organize events focused on developing diverse businesses in the city, state and region.
