Assistant / Associate Professor of Business Law and Accounting
The candidate will teach courses in Business Law, with the possibility of teaching select Accounting courses and graduate courses. Will also participate in the continued development of the graduate and undergraduate curriculum. Should have a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school and a CPA designation or LL.M in taxation. A demonstrated record of college-level teaching is required. A demonstrated willingness to participate in departmental initiatives is also required. Should be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and advising, and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity. Should also have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning, the ability to work collaboratively, evidence of scholarly activity, and a commitment to public higher education. Should preferably have substantial experience in legal practice with an expertise in business law. Candidate with graduate degree and professional certification germane to Accounting and Finance in addition to J.D. and admission to the Bar will be preferred.
