The candidate should have 7 years experience supporting attorneys in the defense of civil litigation matters in the New York and New Jersey jurisdictions. Will play an integral role in supporting attorneys with all aspects of litigation including: case investigation; organization and maintenance of discovery/e-discovery files; deposition summaries; generation and follow up of subpoenas and authorizations; administration of client case reporting requirements and other paralegal duties as required. Additional responsibilities will include implementation of work flow processes and procedures for paralegal and secretary support staff, tracking status of insurance clients’ reporting requirements and insuring completion of all paralegal assignments. Must have strong working knowledge of the litigation process (specifically Insurance Defense) with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks timely and efficiently.
