Sr. UI Engineer

Profile

Responsibilities: • Convert PSD’s into clean and easy to maintain HTML and CSS.• Create intuitive, robust, and highly responsive user interfaces with JavaScript.• Participate in the design and development of new UI functionality for mobile web applications.• Find solutions for cross browser issues in both HTML/CSS and JavaScript.• Working with jQuery templates and JSON files to create dynamic content. Requirements: •  Experience in developing and building web applications for mobile and touch devices.• Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript to create high-performance mobile websites that adhere to web standards • Intermediate skill in Photoshop. Cutting up PSD’s and optimizing images.• Ability to work well in a team of Designers, Product Managers, QA and other developers.• Familiarity with development in a PHP environment.• Enjoy being an important member of our fun, fast paced, energetic and very agile team Desired: • Strong JavaScript OO skills and ability to write JavaScript with / without use of libraries. (jQuery and other libraries are a plus) • Knowledge with version control and bug tracking systems (Specifically GIT is a plus ) • Experience with AJAX technologies and techniques.• Experience with iOS and Mobile App development a big plus
