We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who is a battle-tested mobile developer to open SaatchiArt.com to a new world, one with smaller screens but an equally powerful and engaging experience.
You’ll Report To:
Sr. Director, Software Engineering
A typical day as a Sr. iOS Engineer might include:
Collaborating with a team of skilled developers and designers in the creation and enhancements of our recently launched Saatchi iOS App
Developing new engaging social features for artists and curators alike
Building out an ecommerce experience including a native shopping experience and more
Leveraging robust platform APIs to support app features
You’ll be successful if you
want to make a difference in the lives of art makers and lovers, or just simply enjoy producing great code for a large audience.
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5 years’ experience developing mobile apps and experience developing in SWIFT
Experience with RESTful web service calls
Experience using GIT
Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
Understanding of design patterns (i.e., MVC, MVVM, VIPER)
Must be able to gather requirements, design, code, and test independently
Passion for programming, staying current with technologies, and applying best practices
Great teamwork and communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
