Director of Development and Alumni Relations, School of Law

Responsibilities: coordinates efforts involving annual giving, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, major gifts and alumni relations. Working with the Law School Dean, the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Advancement and Alumni Relations, associate deans, faculty members, and senior staff members to develop fundraising priorities and strategies, and ensuring these activities are an intrinsic part of the annual fundraising development plan for the school. Will manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects with the potential of making major gifts to the priorities of the School of Law. Reports to the Dean of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and the AVP for University Advancement and Alumni Relations, and collaborates with the AVP and Dean of the School of Law to create advancement objectives and oversee strategies and implementation; Works with the Dean to establish long- and short-term objectives and goals for fundraising in concert with university campaign strategies; Oversees unit’s portfolio of donors and potential donors to maximize unit revenue; Oversees the School of Law Annual Fund and the development of major gifts and principal gift pipelines; Oversees the School of Law Alumni Relations efforts; Travels as necessary for donor outreach and cultivation; and Other duties as assigned.
