Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a US Ex-Pat Experienced Field Service Representative to support the Integration and Test engineering specialty under the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT).u00a0 Position will be based at Grafenwoehr, Germany, and may include travel to Warsaw, Poland. This is a long term international assignment in Germany. Candidate will initially be trained in Huntington Beach for 1 month and then be deployed to the field as a Field Service Representative.nnPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:nnLeads technical field support of company products.nPerforms troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems and specialty coverage.nResolves maintenance and operational issues.nMonitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues.nAnalyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.nDevelops and conducts ad hoc training.nnnADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:nnField Support Representative for fielded Tactical Systems equipment operating at Customer sites.nProvide support for initial fielding, testing, training and repair of data processing systems, and DOD communication systems.nSupport Crypto/COMSEC equipment as it applies to the Tactical Systems products and capabilitiesnProvide support for Environmental Control Units, and Uninterruptable Power Supply systems.nPerform all aspects of maintenance, repair and system administration on Tactical Systems equipment.nProvides informal training to system operators on all aspects of the system operations and capabilities.nAssist and advise users and other FSRu2019s in resolving technical issues.nAble to diagnose and repair complex hardware and software problems with little or no assistance from engineering.nProvide backup support, on-call support, and training support to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Tactical Systems products deployed at various locations worldwide.nnnThis position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.nnThis position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)nThis is a long-term international assignment. The selected candidateu00a0should anticipate being in-country for 3 years after initial familiarization training and visa processing.nnBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)nnMust have 5 or more yearsu2019 experience troubleshooting and resolving maintenance and operational issuesnNetwork Administration ExperiencenWindows/Linux System Admin ExperiencenAt the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment duration's to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.nnnPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)nnRF Communications Experience preferredn5 years of experience working as a Field Service Support personnPrior Military Previous Experience working on with fielded Tactical System is highly desirable.nPrior leadership experience a plus.nExperience in providing informal operator training.nRepair and troubleshooting experience with complex hardware systemsnSecurity Plus CertificatennnTYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:nApplicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.nnRELOCATION:nThis position offers relocation to Europe based on candidate eligibility for international assignments.
