Assistant Director for Career Services & Experiential Education
Responsibilities: Educates and advises students and graduates regarding all aspects of the career/professional development process and opportunities available through the Experiential Education program; to advance this objective, assists in planning and conducting all professional development programming, in addition to meeting individually with students and alumni. Under indirect supervision, will communicate with field supervisors and field placement sites as appropriate and necessary for all students enrolled in the Experiential Education program, including evaluations and site visits; will coordinate the application and placement process for externships; and will draft, execute, and maintain memoranda of understanding with field placement sites. Will maintain accurate records of job statistics, student/alumni/employer/field supervisor meetings and communications, and other statistics as required. is committed to providing consistent, respectful, and reasonable attention to the clients, who include prospective students, current students, graduates, employers, field supervisors, and the legal community generally.
