The Senior Architect, Technical Strategy & Architecture is a critical member of the Zoetrope technology team and will be responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of world-class video streaming and entertainment solution.
This position will be responsible for the following:
o Provide architectural vision for technology team and the product itself
o Collaborate with internal/external development teams and product groups to work towards design consensus
o Develop prototypes and best practices in order to evolve solution architecture
o Perform build Vs. buy evaluations
o Provide resolutions to most complex technology issues. Understand the implications between tactical and strategic solutions.
o Define roadmap of key technologies
*Required Skills & Experience
o Experience in designing large scale PCI compliant systems
o Excellent understanding of PCI standards and limitations
o Prior knowledge and experience working with Billing and Settlement systems
o Hands on expertise working with merchandising systems like Magento or similar platforms
o Prior experience in defining architectures to integrate other disparate internal and externals systems
o Prior experience in consolidating platforms and systems
o Excellent understanding of the Message Oriented Middleware paradigm. Experience in building loosely coupled system is a plus
o Excellent understanding of API contracts (domain definition, operations, etc), integrations (Web Services, REST, etc) and their lifecycle/governance
o Ability to grasp, internalize, document, communicate and build upon enterprise-wide architectural concepts
o Excellent understanding of software and enterprise pattern
o Experience working with geographically distributed teams and vendors
o Experience with multiple development and enterprise technologies
o Able to communicate, negotiate, collaborate and frame consensus across the organization
o Experience working with large datasets and high volume transactions (Big Data)
o Experience contributing to a growing, high paced organization
o Experience working with geographically distributed development teams
o Experience performing vendor management functions in multi-vendor environment
o Experience working as part of Agile/Scrum team
o Bachelor's in Computer Science or related
o 7 years General Software Development experience
o 5 years software architecture
o 3 years Technical leadership experience
