Element Consulting Group has a contract-to-hire need for a Mobile Developer with experience designing, developing, and testing mission critical global applications using technologies such as Objective-C, HTML5, C#, ASP.NET, WPF, SQL 2005 and later, Stored Procedures, and Crystal Reports.
**Applicants must be eligible for direct-hire without visa sponsorship.**
Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate and interact with business partners and collaboratively define solutions to address key opportunities.
Develop designs and specifications based on business requirements.
Responsible for the scalability, robustness, and reliability of all solutions within the application area.
Responsible for defining and following best practices.
Evaluate, suggest and implement third party software as needed.
Ability to jointly and independently make decisions, defines required changes, and communicates modifications to entire project team.
Pro-actively consult industry best practices in software design and integration solutions
Provide tier 3 support to business users, including participating in a rotational on-call (nights/weekends) support schedule.
Requirements:
2 years of Mobile application development on iOS and/or Android
2 years with Objective-C
4 years of experience in desktop development and Microsoft technologies
4 years of experience in the following technologies: Visual Studio 2008 and greater, WPF, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2005 or greater, Stored Procedures, and Object Oriented Design
1 year of experience in UX Design
3 years of Crystal Reports development version 9 and greater
3 years of experience developing mission critical applications
Experience in deploying an application to the App Store
Knowledge of Mobile Platform Architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a structured and formal software development process
Experience in developing in an Agile / SCRUM Environment
Knowledge of REST, JSON PostGres or PostgresSQL
Field Sales application development experience
Strong business and technical acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Ability to keep informed of industry trends and technologies and apply them quickly through POCs or full applications.
