Mental Health Specialist III Per Diem
The candidate provides direct care services to individuals served in compliance with all policies and regulations. Completes progress notes in consumer resident’s clinical case record as per unit expectations and supervisory directives that meet all regulatory requirements. Demonstrates awareness of relevant organization and residential policies, procedures and requirements. Collaborates effectively with other staff members, referral sources, other service providers, and social support networks to provide services and rehabilitative care for consumer/residents and families as required by program. Regularly attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service meetings and other designated meeting/training events that will enhance service delivery skills and maintain best practices as identified by individual program. Should have 3+ years of full-time paid experience in the mental health field or two (2) years of college majoring in a relevant social or health care field plus one (1) year of full-time experience in the mental health field. Should preferably have Bilingual skills (English/Spanish). Residential experience with the adult mental health population.
