Come join our team!Job Summary:As a Pharmacy Tech, you'll work under the supervision of a Pharmacist and you'll perform a variety of duties to support the daily workflow of the pharmacy.  Your responsibilities will include:Distributing medications in compliance with state and federal laws and internal policies and proceduresPreparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patientsCompounding of medicationsAssisting in managing inventoryCharging and crediting functions for medications associated with drug distribution processesMaintaining a clean and safe environment by using aseptic technique, careful handling of controlled substances, completing continuing education assignmentsParticipating in department quality assurance programsAdministrative and clerical duties','!*!Education/Work Experience Requirements:Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training programOne year of hospital work experience or hospital rotation within an accredited training program is preferredLicensure/Certification:License as a Pharmacy Technician by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.Washington State Driver’s license required only for those staff with an “off site refill” assignmentCurrent healthcare provider BLS Certification','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
