Sr. Network Engineer expert in Load balancers
6 months Telecommute (remote job)
Monday to Friday, the shift will depend on the project's needs, usually is perform in business hours; however, many work could be required to be performed on weekends and off-hours
this is about 25-30%, it's variable the duration and the frequency of travelling.
* Designing, implementing and deploying a network environment form the scratch
* Planning, performing and troubleshooting Data Centers migrations using ITIL Methodology
* Generating and updating technical documentation, as network Diagrams, Inventories, CMDB information etc.
* Collaborate with Other Services areas in the Data Centers Migrations' move packages
Required Skills:
• 7 years Cisco Network Engineering experience with routers, switches, LAN, WAN, and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP and OSPF)
• Extensive experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM, Citrix NetScaler and Cisco ACE
• Extensive Hands-on Designing, Implementing and configuring highly complex F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM, Citrix NetScaler, Cisco ACE Network environments
• Experience with WAN MPLS migration/Implementation
• The ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge or related networking disciplines
• An understanding of WAN/LAN internetworking including design elements, cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing / proof of concept
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong customer service skills
• Work well within a team, adapt easily to change, and possess the flexibility to travel
• Be a self-starter and have a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals
• Good documentation skills
Desired Skills:
• Hands on network design/support experience and 7 years Infrastructure Technology experience
• Experience with firewalls Cisco (Cisco FWSM, Cisco ASA), Checkpoint and /or Juniper
• Experience with one or more of these platforms: Riverbed, Net Scout, Net Enforcer,
• Experience with configuring and deploying Cisco Nexus Switches
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting user and site VPN’s on multiple platforms
• Experienced one or more of these network monitoring/troubleshooting tools: OPNET, NetQos, Solarwinds, Wireshark (ability to comprehend network captures)
• Experience leading technical projects and supervising other team members or vendors
• Advanced skills in gathering requirements and designing/implementing network solutions
• Datacenter Migration experience
