Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 29 cities, is accepting resumes for our 2023 Summer Program for Summer Associate positions in our Intellectual Property Department in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton, Ohio; Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A technical background is required for patent positions and we are looking for students with patent-bar-eligible undergraduate degrees. Specifically, we are targeting technical backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, and computer science.
Interested first-year law students must be able to demonstrate high academic achievements in law school and undergraduate school, excellent research and writing abilities, extracurricular involvement and/or employment history (preferably in leadership positions), maturity, ability to accept responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
