Student Affairs Officer III
The candidate works to develop, implement and administer a wide variety of outreach initiatives. Helps to leverage the resources of a major research university to strengthen the student preparation pipeline in traditionally underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities and schools. This includes the nationally renowned Law Fellows Program, which engages high-potential undergraduates and recent graduates from diverse backgrounds in academic and career programming designed to increase their competitiveness for admission to law school, demystify legal education and facilitate their entry into the legal profession. Creates new programs and systems to address currently unmet needs and evaluates and improves existing initiatives, including an expanded array of development initiatives. Assist in identifying and disseminating best practices in the academic preparation, retention, success and promotion of underserved populations.
