The Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst has a love for all things technology and a passion for bringing quality to all aspects of a project. Your experience with applying QA techniques in an internet, software, or media development environment will help you succeed in our fast-paced dynamic QA team as you work with some of the world’s biggest brands. The QA Analyst is responsible for fostering strong relationships with other team members and our clients. In addition, the QA Analyst is a key resource on high risk, high exposure projects or new business development that requires specialized QA attention. As a QA Analyst, you are both a strong team player with superior interpersonal skills and a self-starter, with demonstrable ability to excel in working on fast-paced projects while maintaining your meticulous eye for detail.
This position can be done remotely depending on location within the US.
You will:
Work on fast paced projects while utilizing agile or other sprint-based work processes in order to deliver digital projects with exceptional quality for our clients.
Execute hands-on testing, including functional, integration, regression, load, performance, acceptance testing and work with UAT groups.
Leverage existing or gain new skills in automation while working with the automation team to maintain and expand existing automation test suites for regression and component testing.
Monitor and implement improvements to the QA process.
Research, recommend and administer QA tools and techniques.
Intervene and escalate issues when they pose a threat to project quality.
Ensure test documentation and results are maintained for the projects in which QA is involved.
You have:
2 years’ experience with formal test methods and quality assurance programs in a Digital, Internet, advertising, software or media development environment.
Experience, or familiarity with, one or more Web development tools (e.g. JAVA, HTML, Oracle, React).
Knowledge of enterprise content management platforms (AEM, Sitecore etc).
A general knowledge of how the Internet and websites function, as well as an aptitude for all things technology, the Internet, and a passion for learning about new and emerging technologies.
Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and deliver against aggressive schedule pressures while still ensuring the quality of the product.
Experience in the preparation and/or execution of formal test cases, scripts and scenarios.
Familiarity with the development and implementation of Web based systems and products, including both backend and frontend components.
Exposure to using and administering automated testing tools.
Meticulous, keen eye for detail and a positive attitude towards work, the work environment and your co-workers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
