Profile

Develop Android applications using the Eclipse development IDE and the Android SDK.
Develop of Android UIs using Android layouts, view and dialog elements.
Android SDK documentation, a basic Linear Layout which implements a visual wireframe mockup which may require vertical scrolling support.
Experience with Linear, Frame, Relative, Table and Grid layouts.
Experience with Themes, Styles, and Resource types and the Drawable class.
MUST HAVE:
5 years of Android Application development experience
expertise with the Java programming language.
REST-based services and the parsing/interpretation of XML and JSON.
Android app constructs including Activities, Services, Intents, Broadcast Receivers, messaging, Handlers and Runnables, Alarms and the related security options and their appropriate application.
Analyze existing code using the IDE and determine its function.
Eclipse Android debugging environment.
Android file systems(s) and determining when internal and SD card storage should be used.
SQLLite database and User Preferences and understands issues that arise across app version updates with schema changes.
Qne or more applications that they created as sole or principal developer.
Describe the structure of the application(s) and discuss the technical challenges and the design choices made during development.
Developed one or more applications in their entirety.
HTTPClient and HTTPURLConnection is required.
Design of Menus and Action Bars is required.
DESIRED:
Android Telephony, WiFi and SMS managers.
Fragments is desired.
OpenGL experience
Location Service, Geocoding and MapActivities is desired.
