Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.
Working as part of a cross-functional team, you are an internally recognized expert in a technical area of critical importance to the RDQ function. You identify, define and solve complex modeling and simulation problems by applying broad technical knowledge and your in-depth knowledge of the technical specialty to encourage rapid, high-quality innovation across our chocolate, biscuit, gum and candy categories. This is a leadership role as an expert in your technical specialty in RDQ, and as such, you regularly interact with senior management and cross-functional teams to communicate the current and to forecast the future strategic demands of the business.
How you will contribute
You will work with engineers and scientists across all categories to define Modelling & Simulation work tracks to address technical and logistical challenges. Using your engineering/physics background, you will identify the problem domain as well as the most appropriate computational solution. You will scope out the requirements for solution development, including material properties determination, computational tools, democratization strategies and dissemination. You will develop the computational solutions, either using existing tools (e.g., in gPROMS or Witness) or develop your own tools based on first principles. You will ensure that simulations are validated against experimental data; report results from the simulations and work with R&D teams to ensure that learning is embedded into the business quickly to speed up innovation and optimization. To enable non-experts to use your computational solution, you will develop democratization solutions which form a wrapper around the computational solution. You may also need to work with IT to maintain security and back-up systems. As well as communicating the results of your simulations to wider R&D colleagues, you will be able to communicate the benefits of modelling in general. You will utilize, as needed, external academics and companies to help progress your projects.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
Using your excellent technical expertise to lead the setting and delivery of the M&S projects

Problem solving, dealing with ambiguity, standing alone, presentation skills, listening, written communication
Deep expertise in at least one modeling field
Strong engineering/physics background
Expertise in Process Modelling
Experience with equation-based modelling
Experience with Discrete Event Simulation
Ability to work across physics domains (including chemical reaction kinetics)
Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally in a fast-paced, rapidly changing commercial and technical environment
Ability to communicate complex problems simply to non-technical audiences with business-relevant context
Problem solving, dealing with ambiguity, standing alone, presentation skills, listening, written communication

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
