Clinical Instructor for Student Practice Organization
The candidate will teach, mentor, supervise, evaluate and structure the practice work of law school students and will represent clients of the SPOs and TLC. Will assist and help guide the SPO boards and student membership in organizational matters including events, firm networking, sponsorships, budgeting, and other matters. Assist in the marketing and community outreach efforts of the SPOs and TLC by supporting the clinic’s endeavors to develop and nurture relationships with various client communities, organizations and client populations. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have JD degree and 5+ years of relevant legal experience. Admission to Massachusetts Bar required. Experience in entertainment law, as general counsel or in start up environment is highly desirable. Experience with formal mentoring and supervision of law students, beginning attorneys, emerging and start-up companies, or other professionals preferred. Must have strong oral and written communication and organizational skills; strong motivation, initiative, demonstrated ability to work creatively within broad program goals. Admission to Massachusetts Bar required.

Note: This is a 2 year term appointment, with the possibility of annual renewal (up to 5 years), subject to funding and departmental need.
