The Database Administrator (DBA)
will manage, administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of databases associated with customers' corporate applications.
Responsibilities
Serve as a technical expert for databases related to customer's corporate applications
Troubleshoot and resolve database and application issues
Design databases and build tables as well as develop stored procedures and trigger functions and packages
Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization
Ensure user and functional requirements are developed, tested, and implemented promptly
Plan, test, and prepare the implementation of new or enhanced infrastructures
Interface with customers and end-users regarding the progress of the database
Implement data models and database designs, data access, and table maintenance codes and handles other data issues
Provide ad-hoc queries as needed
Perform other duties as assigned (non-supervisory)

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience or 8 years relevant experience in lieu of degree:
Oracle databases (Enterprise Edition)
Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft SQL Server
PGAdmin
Linux Red Hat
Active TS/SCI required with the ability to pass a CI Poly
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications
Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks
Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contract environment
Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees
