The Assistant Digital Product Designer is responsible for assisting our Digital Product Designer and DPD team with all aspects of 3D creation and 3D design support. The Assistant Digital Designer should possess a technological vision and genuine interest in digital- staying up to date with new releases and advances in 3D and the digital space, being able to problem-solve and troubleshoot ideas, etc. They should have proficient knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite and required to have experience with a 3D Apparel Software- Browzwear (preferred) or Clo. The Assistant Designer should also have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of garment construction and materials, is highly technical as well as meticulous in organization and values data integrity. Prior experience as an Assistant Apparel Designer is a plus though not required.

Responsibilities:

DAM Librarian –upload and maintain our e-commerce digital assets for cross-functional use on our digital asset management system
Support in the creation of digital assets for e-commerce, Marketing and Design
Assist in rendering and decimating assets according to need
Actively participate in team meetings, take notes and track our assets count via Airtable
Update and keep organized our digital libraries as they currently stand and evolve
Streamline and recommend efficiencies in our process as they arise
Regularly correspond with Design Teams for 3D support
Attend all meetings and keep detailed notes

Qualifications:

College degree in Fashion Design
1-2+ years of demonstrated design experience
3D Apparel Software knowledge – Browzwear (preferred) or Clo
Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe CS, Excel (similar web-based solution such as Smartsheet or Airtable preferred), MS Office, MS Teams, PPT or Keynote, Web PDM/PLM
3D modeling software experience a plus
Strong knowledge of garment construction
Multi-tasking abilities as well as agility in navigating between different software solutions
Must have a clear understanding of the Tommy aesthetic and brand
Strong time management, organizational skills & problem-solving skills
Meticulous and keen attention to detail
Enthusiasm for digital technology and future facing digital advancements and opportunities
Ability to handle stressful situations of overlapping projects and deliverables while remaining professional and organized
Team player and enthusiastic about contributing to the digital process and transformation
Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities, constantly shifting technology updates, enhancements and solutions
