Senior Manager Cost Optimization - Tommy Hilfiger

Profile

Reporting to the Director of Supply Strategy, the Sr. Manager is responsible for managing, analyzing, modeling, advising and tracking supply chain initiatives and performance across the TH North America Supply Team. Leads and shapes methodologies for financial modeling against initiatives and their contribution, as well as measuring efficiencies. Ensures standardized approach to ROI tracking and efficiency, while driving optimum creative approaches for initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Cost Strategy

• Partner with the Platform and business Supply Strategy Team to understand and measure cost impacts of long-term sourcing strategies
• Contribute financial analysis of sourcing strategies and resulting positive and/or negative effects
• Formulate ideas and defines strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership including ROI analysis, resourcing needs, and future impact to the business
• Compose strategic initiatives and consults on progress, metrics, key performance indicators, and ROI against priorities
• Stay well-informed, maintains, and grows knowledge of macro environment and associated business impact, quantify risk, and opportunities to inform future strategic decisions
• Serve as cost strategy partner, influencer and thought leader to Supply Senior Leadership and End to End Sourcing teams
• Lead as a connector between business and functions to document and share best practices

Cost Analyst and Tracing of Initiatives

• Support the Power Plans and provide factual data to measure their success.
• Lead team to track and educate Supply teams on impact of trade deals, duty shifts, tariffs, and geopolitical issues impacting costing
• Support and model true end-to-end benefits (e.g. agility models and its benefits on cash flow, transport costs, increased inventory availability, and sales contribution)
• Establish method of forecasting the effects of macro trend on the core PVH business.
• Lead team in creating methodologies, analyses, and impactful approaches that effectively attributes and tracks ROI against initiatives
• Lead team in constructing cost optimization dashboards and presentations to share with Senior Leadership that shows favorable progress, escalates unfavorable situations, and influences decisions

Cost Analysis and Tracking of Short- and Long-Term Investments

• Partners with Supply leaders on various investments across business to understand cost and expected ROI (e.g. technologies, pilots, partnerships)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA highly desired
• 5-7 years’ work experience in manufacturing with focus on industrial engineering and/or finance, or other supply chain background
• Demonstrated leadership, managing people of all levels                
• Executive presence, voice, and the ability to influence and operate with all levels
• Detail-oriented, with a passion for forensic analysis
• Inquisitive and able to challenge the status quo
• Motivate, inspire, and lead people and teams
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and prioritize

• Oversee and drive teams to meet target cost goals
• Ability to formulate solid, long-term strategies with Senior Leadership that align with Supply and Business priorities in a fluid and global landscape
• Ability to analyze multiple areas of the PVH business and develop comprehensive strategies and initiatives to improve business, communication, and performance in multiple areas
• Ability to influence at all levels (executive through associate), and to work in ambiguity
• Comfortable with all levels and cultures, a relationship builder, with a keen ability to able to navigate within the organization
• Trusted and respected resource as the “connector” to keep the business aligned and on track with strategies
• Self-starter and solutions-oriented
• Overseas travel to regional offices, factories, or mills, may be required
• Position is based in our NYC office, but ability to travel/visit other PVH offices (e.g., Bridgewater, NJ) when necessary
