Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate (3-7 years) to join its Labor and Employment practice. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity open in Orange County and San Diego.

About the Role

The Associate will represent employers in employment litigation and provide counseling on workplace compliance. This role offers hands-on experience, client contact, and mentorship from experienced employment lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims


• Provide counseling on employment policies, handbooks, and compliance matters


• Draft and negotiate employment, severance, and settlement agreements


• Represent clients in administrative proceedings

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in labor and employment law


• Strong writing, advocacy, and client counseling skills


• Licensed to practice in California

Compensation

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $160-$230k per year, with annual performance bonuses. This is an estimate based on the office location.
