Applications Intern
The candidate will develop programs and scripts to automate operational processes and monitoring systems. Organize and manage software and hardware inventory in the Firm CMDB. Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel. Develop technical documentation and train the trainer user guides on core Firm systems. Troubleshoot and resolve problems for all Firm-supported software and hardware. Assist in providing technical assistance and training to lawyers and staff. Current college Junior or Senior working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Mathematics is required. Previous internship or work experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with NET, Java, PowerShell, JavaScript or a similar object-oriented programming language is highly desired. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel power user functions, such as VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, and Macros is a plus. Hands-on experience with SQL Server or a related Relational DBMS is a plus. Server management experience is a plus.
