ABOUT THESE TEMP POSITIONS
These are temporary positions and the length of assignment could be 2-6 months. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and timeframe may change.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Under supervision, you will provide technical and operational support to internal customers and may accept advanced technical escalations to resolve or collaborate with backend engineers to resolve.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of:
Microsoft operating systems,
The methods of supporting hardware issues related to PC desktops and laptops
Applications commonly used in Windows, including Adobe Acrobat, Winzip, GoToAssist, GoToMeeting, Java, FTP and SFTP
Hardware encryption, endpoint protection and dual authentication software
Ability to:
Ability to independently identify and resolve a wide range of technical issues in a timely manner
Ability to conduct research, gather and analyze information, reach logical and sound conclusions, and offer recommendations and potential consequences
Ability to explain processes and programs related to area of assignment, and provide guidance regarding Service Desk technical issues
Ability to communicate clearly and create documentation
Ability to maintain organized and accurate records
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of five years of experience in a computer operations environment which included hardware and software support and administration (an Associate’s degree may substitute for one year of the required experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
OTHER DETAILS
While these positions are connected to our Scotts Valley office, we are in a fully remote work environment right now due to COVID-19. The interview and on-boarding process will be completed remotely.
