Job Summary

Responsible for oversight and management of Program Managers and the Program Management Office (PMO.) Effectively oversees Program Management Office in delivering programs on time and on budget, including resource allocation. Develops financial and operational objectives. May have department budget responsibilities. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Program Delivery

Create end-to-end program plan and drive execution of GTM deliverables, with particular focus on cross-workstream dependencies & coordination

Partner with key workstream leads/stakeholders, including senior leaders, to drive execution of workstream deliverables

Build and maintain stakeholder management structure and rules of engagement for involved teams including Product, CET, Tech, Billing, Sales, Marketing/Comms, Care, etc. to drive accountability and promote collaboration

Establish tools & processes to effectively engage and coordinate execution with workstreams as well as track delivery progress (E2E plan, risks, business impacts, etc.)

Provide standardized and ad-hoc executive reporting to enable data-driven decision making

Establish scalable governance processes and structure including risk management, escalation, meeting cadence, comms, etc. to control and streamline the execution of program delivery

Support GTM readouts in on-going exec steercos for Genesis program

Core Responsibilities

Provides leadership and management to the Program Management team. Possesses staffing accountability, including recruitment and retention, hiring & performance management and leadership and professional development.

Provides support for corporate budgeting and budget tracking.

Recommends and implements corrective action with the Program Management Office (PMO,) as necessary, to improve performance.

Trains, hires and develops PMO staff. Has performance management responsibilities. Responsible for staff performance and salary and bonus administration.

Develops and maintains performance metrics to makes informed recommendations for strategic decision making.

Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Strong communication skills and executive presence with ability to interact with leaders across all departments in the organization

Extensive experience with complex program governance and expertise in implementing tools and processes to standardize delivery across numerous initiatives in motion at any point in time

Ability to operate in a fast-paced cross-functional environment, and coordinate and track concurrent execution of complex programs

Strong background in program management with a pragmatic, data-driven, strategic approach to problem-solving
