Pasadena, CA — The recent slowdown in the job market had affected Miami to a considerable extent, but now the picture of the job market is getting better and better. But there is a hitch here. The jobs are posted in hidden job boards and employer sites and it is quite difficult to aggregate all the jobs present in Miami. Fortunately, MiamiCrossing (www.miamicrossing.com), a job-research service catering exclusively to job seekers in Miami, has massively enhanced its efforts to locate every government job opening.

''MiamiCrossing added more than 3700 jobs in the first week of May while there are more than 12,000 jobs that can be found on the site,'' says A. Harrison Barnes, CEO of MiamiCrossing.

A global law firm WilmerHale is all set to open a business support center in at Miami Valley Research Park which is sure to give jobs to many of the locals. A recent study shows that Solar Mountain project is expected to create 5,530 construction jobs when realized along with 3,983 permanent jobs. More than $500 million is expected to be shelled out for this gigantic project in 2011. It is also expected to attract 1.2 million visitors per year by 2013.

''The downturn had a domino effect on the job market of Miami. The jobs are being added at a frantic pace but what poses a difficulty for freshers and even experienced job seekers is where to look for them. There are cluttered job boards everywhere but there are no focused and niche job boards which post jobs according to the needs of the job seekers. MiamiCrossing aspires to be the job board which can aggregate all jobs in Miami, and till now has met with considerable success.'' adds Barnes.

Luckily, MiamiCrossing has expanded its research horizons to meet the needs of job seekers in Miami. The website currently lists 12000-plus jobs in its database belonging to all domains and industries. These jobs have been collected from more than 8,000 job boards and 250,000 employer websites. ''We aim to add more jobs from all possible sources, including all the hidden jobs,'' adds Barnes.

Unlike other job-search and career sites, MiamiCrossing weeds out spam and jobs outside one’s niche, allowing job seekers to search efficiently and specifically for Miami. MiamiCrossing also allows employers/recruiters to post jobs for free on the site. For more information on MiamiCrossing, please visit www.miamicrossing.com
